Stop loss and take profit with an AI agent: the rails, explained

How Órbita's fixed rails work when an AI agent executes them: stop loss −2%, take profit +3%, 10% tickets, short holds and cash before weekends.

Exits set before entering

Every position has two exits from the moment it's opened: a take profit at +3% and a stop loss at −2% from the average cost. If the broker supports it, both go in a single OCO order; if not, the take profit is a limit order and the agent watches the stop every session.

Size, holding time and cash

Each entry is at least 10% of the account, positions are held for at most three sessions, and the account goes to cash before weekends and US holidays, when nobody can react. Long only, no leverage.

What the rails don't do

A stop limits the loss but doesn't guarantee the price: a gap can fill it at a worse price, and some brokers don't accept stop orders. Rails reduce risk; they don't create returns on their own.
