How IBKR's MCP works
Interactive Brokers offers an official hosted MCP at https://api.ibkr.com/v1/api/mcp, with sign-in through IBKR. The assistant can read positions, balances and P&L and draft orders, but orders never go out automatically: you review and submit them from an IBKR platform.
Connecting it next to Órbita
Add IBKR's MCP and Órbita's (https://mcp.orbita.markets) to Grok Bot, OpenCode or OpenClaw. When asking Órbita for orders, use the "ibkr" preset: IBKR supports native stops and bracket orders, so protection can be a single order with both exits.
Who it's for
It suits people who want an agent to do the analysis and prepare the orders but prefer to press the button themselves. The trade-off: someone has to be present for every session.
